Who We Are Instead

So much to recap and review, but I've taken good notes to reference for later as I unpack all that's happened this weekend. The appropriate metaphor here is an onion -- I feel like there are many layers of callouses and walls that I have built up since I was last on campus, and finding a way to peel them off to return to the essence of self will be a challenge (not to mention the watery eyes that go with it!)

Looking back is no longer an option, nor is it productive, so it's about time I move forward. Thoughtful times lie ahead...
